Thinking about volunteering?

Come along to our friendly, informal Volunteer Information Session to find out what it's really like to become a befriender with Befriends Dundee.

Our volunteer befrienders spend regular time with children and young people, helping them build confidence, try new activities and enjoy having a trusted adult in their lives.

Whether you're simply curious about volunteering or seriously considering becoming a befriender, this relaxed one-hour session is the perfect place to learn more.

During the session you'll:

  • Learn about Befriends and the young people we support.
  • Find out what volunteer befriending involves.
  • Meet current volunteers and hear about their experiences.
  • Have plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
  • Find out about the application process if you'd like to take the next step.

No obligation, just information

There is absolutely no obligation to volunteer after attending.

This session is simply an opportunity to meet the team, find out more and decide whether befriending is right for you.

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided.

Book your free place

Places are free, but booking is essential.

Reserve your place here:

If you can't make this session but would still like to find out more about volunteering, we'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch and we'll be happy to arrange another opportunity to chat.
