Help support local people through our Community Food Larder! Join our friendly team and make a difference by helping provide affordable food & essentials.
Our Community Food Larder provides affordable food and everyday essentials to people living in Stobswell and the surrounding area, helping households make their money go further.
We're looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help keep this valuable service running smoothly.
As a Larder Volunteer, you could be involved in:
- Welcoming and assisting people using the larder.
- Stocking shelves and checking stock rotation.
- Sorting deliveries and organising donations.
- Helping collect food donations from local supermarkets.
- Handling payments and recording basic monitoring information.
- Keeping the larder clean, tidy and welcoming.
No previous experience is necessary, although good communication skills and a friendly, non-judgemental approach are important.
You'll be part of a supportive team helping to tackle food insecurity and ensure everyone accessing the larder is treated with dignity and respect.
When: Tuesdays, 10am–12pm, with additional opportunities to help with deliveries and preparation.
