Love gardening or being outdoors? Help care for Boomerang's community garden, grow fresh produce and keep our outdoor spaces looking lovely!
Our community garden provides a welcoming outdoor space and an opportunity to grow fresh produce, encourage wildlife and bring a little colour to the centre.
We're looking for volunteers who enjoy gardening, being outdoors or simply getting stuck into practical activities.
As a Gardening Volunteer, you could be involved in:
- Planting flowers, vegetables and herbs.
- Watering and caring for plants.
- Weeding and maintaining planting areas.
- Harvesting vegetables and other produce.
- Helping keep outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
- Supporting seasonal gardening projects.
- Working alongside our Lead Garden Volunteer and other members of the team.
You don't need to be an experienced gardener! Whether you're green-fingered or just keen to learn, we'd love to have you involved.
Gardening can be a great way to enjoy fresh air, meet new people, learn practical skills and contribute to a welcoming community environment.
When: Flexible weekday opportunities, Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm.
