Our food projects rely on regular collections of donated and surplus food to help us support local people and families.
We're looking for reliable volunteer drivers who can help collect food donations from local businesses and partner organisations and deliver them to Boomerang Community Centre.
What you'll be doing:
- Collecting food donations from local supermarkets and suppliers.
- Loading and unloading crates of food.
- Transporting donations safely to the Centre.
- Working alongside our friendly staff and volunteer team.
- Helping us reduce food waste and support our community.
You'll need a full driving licence, access to a suitable vehicle and to be comfortable lifting and carrying crates of food.
