Work with staff to create social media content about Feeling Strong! This could involve documenting the hub nights and events, and writing blog posts etc.

Flexible volunteering hours across Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, whatever suits you best! You will have access to Canva to help with content creation. Ideally it would be good to have you volunteering from the Feeling Strong Hub, Block 5, 2 Seabraes Lane, DD1 4NX. You can use our laptops and iPads.


Main purpose of role:

Work with staff to create social media content about Feeling Strong! This could involve documenting the hub nights and events, creating content for awareness days such as Scottish Mental Health Week, writing blog posts for the website, and website design. If you are looking to develop your social media skills and learn more about mental health and the third sector, this could be for you! In this role, you will develop your experience in creating social media content, copy and scheduling.


As a Feeling Strong Volunteer, you will have access to our training opportunities when they become available.


Key tasks and responsibilities:

  1. Creating fun content for social media and the website in line with Feeling Strong branding.
  2. Writing website copy, alt text and social media text.
  3. Adhering to safeguarding confidentiality policies where relevant.
  4. Undergoing any training as required by the role/requested by the organisation.
