In person, 2 day training for people who would like to become a mentor with our Youth Mentoring and Intandem Family Mentoring services at TCA.

An excellent opportunity to learn all about mentoring with TCA's Youth Mentoring Service.

Saturday and Sunday (Both days) start at 10am and finish around 2:30pm, refreshments will be provided but please bring your own lunch.

Both days must be attended to cover these 5 sessions:

Session 1: What is Mentoring?

Session 2: Goal Setting and The Grow Model

Session 3: Communication

Session 4: Child Protection and ACEs

Session 5: Boundaries and Lone Working

please note this is a certificated course for those wishing to be matched with a young person through our Youth Mentoring and Intandem family mentoring services, please apply through the volunteer opportunities section in order to register for this training.
