This bite-sized event is for PARENTS/CARERS and PROFESSIONALS/PRACTITIONERS/VOLUNTEERS WORKING WITH YOUNG PEOPLE AND FAMILIEs
Join one of our adapted and shorter online conflict resolution series sessions. 'Conflict Triggers and Response Styles' explores some of the triggers involved in relationships that contribute to potential conflict escalation and its impact on those relationships.
You will receive an email after you click on the "register your interest", within the email is the Eventbrite link to book this session on ZOOM.
The training highlights how to manage conflicts by understanding response styles and how they are applied, as a guide. When it comes to conflict, it is useful to identify and understand how conflict response styles can inform good practice.
Following the session, you will be able to:
- Recognise (daily) triggers that have the potential to escalate within a family context
- Reflect on how to address them more effectively or seek appropriate support.
- Recognise and reflect on the different ways we respond to conflict
Booking through Eventbrite also gives you all the details you need prior to the training.
The session will be delivered on the online platform Zoom, by the SCCR trainer. You will be sent the details on how to join nearer the time to the event when bookings have closed and a full PDF document with all the information you need to know will be emailed to you. This session is at an introductory level and no prior knowledge of the subject is required.
