These fantastic hour long sessions are excellent for helping with understanding conflict, triggers and emotions.
This bite-sized event is for PARENTS/CARERS and PROFESSIONALS/PRACTITIONERS/VOLUNTEERS WORKING WITH YOUNG PEOPLE AND FAMILIES
Join one of our adapted and shorter online conflict resolution series sessions. 'Understanding Emotions and Anger' will introduce you to primary and secondary emotions, emotions we present and emotions we feel. It demonstrates how the process of anger works, its trigger, escalation, release, de-escalation and resolve. Understanding that anger is a normal human emotion and looking at self-awareness and tools we can use to identify emotions and regulate them.
Following the session, you will be able to:
- Understand and identify primary and secondary emotions and where anger sits in these
- Self-reflect on your own anger triggers and explore what might be behind the anger
- Describe the anger cycle
- Explore how to self-regulate for the purpose of managing and responding to emotions more effectively
Once you sign up you will recieve a pre-event email a couple of days prior to the event with all the information and joining instructions you will need.
