About Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action
Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action (DVVA) is an independent charity and, alongside, Dundee Social Enterprise Network, we are the Dundee Third Sector Interface. Our aim is to ensure the Third Sector in Dundee (charities, social enterprises, community and voluntary groups etc.) is robust, resilient and delivers high-quality services for the people of Dundee. We sit at a number of strategic and planning meetings to ensure that the voice of the Sector and the communities it supports is heard, represented and influences policy and decision-making. We also deliver a diverse range of programmes and projects on mental health and substance use, social inclusion, community engagement and development, volunteering, governance and organisational development. We are set to help build capacity of individuals, organisations and communities, adopting a preventative and early intervention approach where possible. We work with a wide range of partners and stakeholders and our successes and achievements are rooted on partnership and collaboration. Our main offices are based at Number Ten, 10 Constitution Road, and we also operate from the Lochee Hub, a community-based, shared space for information, support and recreation for the people of Lochee and the wider community.Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action
