Dundee Women's Aid

Dundee Women's Aid provides support for women, children and young people who have experienced Domestic Abuse. We aim to help women understand domestic abuse and coercive control, explore the context of abusive behaviour, improve knowledge and understanding of the impact of trauma, and practice of self-care. A common factor with domestic abuse is isolation and feeling alone. With our Connecting Women project we aim to combat this through volunteer befrienders and a variety of groups which offer peer support in a safe space facilitated by volunteers.
